  1. Looking around and found this kit from exedy. master and slave look alike and i think it will work...Im not sure here are some photos and links.

    (edit) I dont think it will but ill keep this thread open incase it does end up fitting or working.

  2. Ok, so some photos of what exactly?

    I measured the old rotors while they were off, they were 260mm like the fronts, but with the space for the parking brake.

    The dust shield didn't seem bent.

    The wheels are 15s, Outback wheels if I'm not mistaken.

    Buy the same size rear rotors. Send that kit back and buy a kit that has 260mm all around and save yourself some time. Hope this helps man! I always double check parts on my car before i order them. Ill send a link to the brakes i use :)

  3. Picked up a 5MT for cheap from a 98 outback 2.5.... that 5MT has 4.11 gears in the front. I have a 96 legacy 4eat with 4.11 gears. I was wondering if i can use my rear diff with the manual or do i have to swap the diff too... Dumb question but couldnt find anything on this. (edit) update on the swap... Pulled the center diff and started to weld the diff.
  4. Well first post here and here goes nothing. Always wanted to make my car RWD but never really did anything about it. well today i got bored and went to my shop and just started working. cut the duty c solenoid wire that goes into the TCU and got full 50/50 lock with no CEL or anything. runs and drives gret and no major problems(yet) i would do this at your own risk but i dont really care about my tranny as im swapping it for a 5MT soon. Ill be keeping updates on "driftaru"aka shitaru my shitbox

     

    (edit) forgot to say i pulled the front cv axles as well still have to weld the diff
