yeah i heard that, but this is a jdm model with the silver roof rail so its ment to held on by a couple bolts (from the outside) and clips but the clips have no obvious way of coming off

Did you ever figure out how to remove the rails?

Anyone know how to remove the silver roof rails (not the roof racks) on a 2008 lgt wagon? Having trouble with the rear mounting bolts rusting (ones under the removable covers) and running rusty water down the side of the rail. Im wanting to remove the rails to clean it up a bit.
