Newbie123 replied to Newbie123's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
I need to talk to some professionals in the cooling department. I need to decide what size radiator is needed and if I should do awic or not. Any recommendations? -

Sounds like you need me to build you a twin turbo kit? Twin efr7163’s would be awesome. Let’s do it -

Got the chase bays dual piston brake booster delete installed. They didn’t make lines for the legacy so I had my own lines made. Got the brakes and the clutch bled (not like that was necessary at this point but whatever) Just need to make a few more fuel lines and the fuel system will be 100%. -

Added a small bend to move the turbo closer to the engine. Much happier with the placement now! Time to finish the last couple welds on the header Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Taking it one step at a time. The plan was an angled radiator core, and using an a2w intercooler setup. I am also adding a bend to the 2to1 collector, to bring the turbo closer to the motor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I don’t think we’ve met before, which is surprising. Do you still have your spec b? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ve heard of people making 500whp on stock blocks but I don’t have very high hopes. I’m sure headstuds at minimum would be smart, but I’m not going to waste my time with stock sized headstuds. Just mainly want to get the car running good before building a motor for it. Just wanted to try something different. Using a haltech, it sounds like they have a control strategy figured out. By the time I’m ready for it, I’m sure it’ll be even better. But we will see! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I built a 06 Wrx wagon when I was a younger. Iag closed deck, efr8374 twin scroll, 6mt swapped. But nothing special tbh. This is my first real project that I’m actually fabricating parts for. I am a pipe welder by trade. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Going to be using the new turbosmart electronic wastegate, and also got the material for the downpipe. I’m hoping to have some time within the next couple weeks to finalize the exhaust completely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Picked up a rolling chassis in October 2020, and have been working on it slowly since then. Started by adding sti Brembos all around, as well as a 2005 sti 6mt with matching R180. Went with a driveshaft shop 1 piece carbon fiber driveshaft, as well as their 1000hp rear axles. Added some aluminum front control arms, and Whiteline sway bars etc. Then I made the decision to complicate things and instead of a ej25 with plenty of off the shelf aftermarket options, I opted for a jdm ez30r. I began designing an equal length header, which took way longer to come up with a design than it should have. Picked up a gtx3584rs ii Built the primaries out of 321ss 1.5”sch 10 pipe. Picked up a haltech elite 2500 and premium harness More to come …. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
