Not necessarily true. I've blacked out the roof of my last few cars and have never taken a hit on it. I thought of going this route once, but it never had the same gloss as paint. I wanted mine to actually look like it had a panoramic roof...weird part was when other Legacy owners asked if it was glass. Might want to contact the manufacturer of the vinyl to check that. After I had my car vinyl wrapped, I called to see about waxing it and they advised me not to.

Depends on the part. Engine parts, no. Appearance & suspension, yes.

Pretty sure it would be more than a bumper conversion. I think you have to do all of the front end to get it to line up correctly.

Great! That plasti-dip is strong stuff. I'm still holding out some hope of a decent after-market grill showing up (I am not a fan of the current batch of mesh fill openings, I'd like a little more style).

Yes, sitting on Tein S-Techs. Not much so far. exhaust air filter? I'd imagine headers are in the works, maybe some sort of programmer. Not going to get any real love compared to the GT.
