How do I check if it’s a clogged up pipe

Engine is stock only things is K&N air filter and strut bar

It’s a 5 speed manual and yes it drives fine at around 4500 rpms

I have a 05 lgt and i have bad turbolag. when i get to about 3000-3500 rpms they jump up about 1000 then it evens itself out. the car doesnt jerk it the rpms just jump. what should i do
