Got injectors tested and cleaned-results!

I bought some used injectors off of '05Limited. I had them sent to DW for the full-meal-deal: cleaning, flow testing, and more, their dynamic plus service:

http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/injector_services.php

Here are the results: If anyone wants more info (as DW provides quite a bit) just ask.

Flow Data (before cleaning):

1) 527 cc/min

2) 535 cc/min

3) 535 cc/min

4) 534 cc/min

Not bad for 60k?

Flow Data (after cleaning):

1) 538 cc/min

2) 540 cc/min

3) 540 cc/min

4) 536 cc/min

I also have dynamic flow results if anyone finds that data useful.

FWIW the Flow Rate vs Duty Cycle chart looks very very linear.

Spray pattern was good before and after cleaning.

Not bad @ all.........

DW does a GREAT job def $ well spent!!

You were running the stockers with your setup??

Yes, and unless I start seeing over 100% IDC I will continue.

Right now at about 90% IDC.;)

 and begin

Yea, let's not start that again.

I thought it would be nice to have flow data on injectors that I have, so I will put these when when I do my TGV deletes. Figured it was one variable I could take out of the equation.

With my current avo380 tune if I added WI I'd go back to stock injectors. Just can't ever drive past 1.5 load without spraying..

11.1:1 AFR at 15 psi in -30F temps works just fine on pump. I am at 97% then. But I know it won't get worse then that.

On my alky tune I start spraying at about 30% IDC. I wouldn't change a thing if I had bigger injectors (other then scler and latency). If I felt like I was losing anything with my stock injectors I would have paid the money for bigger ones, in fact I once did, but sold them.

Are you using the stock injector scalar (520.59)?

I am right now, but when I put in the "new" ones I may consider scaling them at 538, then tweaking whatever else I have to.

One would think that anything else would be slightly less then an accurate tune, and that would just bug me.;)
