Ok well the plans are finally looking solid. After talking with Hill at Agile the plan is a go.

 

What: Lunch at Five Guys then a rolling convoy to Agile with lots of

photos and then ending at Agile with more photos/dynos/general

bringing or our community together

 

When: January 9th 2010 10:30am until 4-5pm.

 

Where: -Starting at the Five Guys restaurant in White Marsh MD

(photos and address below)

-Then drive from 5Guys to Agile Automotive

(address and Directions below)

-Finishing at Agile Automotive with some hot drinks, dynos, photos

and the general helping of bringing out community together.

DYNO:

Dyno will be $90 a car for three pulls with A/F. This price is only if we get 5 cars to do it. Their max is seven for a day because of the time it takes to mount the cars on their dyno.

This year I am really concentrating on getting this to be a all or mostly LGT meet. Lets get together and show people how big the LGT community is!1!!

I am down for this one....hopefully there will be a ton of LGT's there....

I'll be there, in winter chase form (snow tires, weather station, etc.). I don't know if I'll have the ability to stream video, as I have yet to re-signup for a data card service (donations anyone...LOL). But I'll have the DSLR camera and video camera for post event uploads.

Not digging the Nissan Sentras though. If it is Legacy and WRX only, sure. But Nissan Sentra(s), I'll pass. A lot of the Nissan Sentra owners I've noticed are kids that really need a curb stomp.

I agree. And it's why we are very much so limiting which sentra people are invited. The maturity level of those invited will be sufficent.

 

As a whole I am hoping for 20+ legacys and 5-10 older 2.5RSs with maybe as many sentras. Also I assume my local epic failures group will be out. But a EVO and 335i shouldn't bother anyone.

That's one too many Sentras. I can dig 2 or 3 Sentras. But that many?

I've been out with this crew a couple of times. The Sentra crowd is good people and have the same interests as we do - cars/mods. Everyone get's along fine. Just go. It'll be fun!

Yeah and this time I am being a little more selective which ones I invite.

 

It would be a lot easier if i could see the LGT list growning over 15 sooner. Common I know between MD/VA/DE/NJ there are PLENTY of LGTs. What else are you doing car wise all winter? And its not like we drive slammed hondas that are afraid of a little foul weather... AWD FTW i though?

See the thing is this with mixed meets. People will just think it is one of those retarded Hot Import Nights (HIN) hangouts and some people would feel wary of coming over. Plus not to mention being a ricer these days means you are the bottom of the bottom when it comes to living in society. It just isn't even remotely cool. 2 Fast 2 Furious proved how retarded it is being a rice bowl racer.

 

Usually if you stick to one brand car, you start forming a club of like minded people. That is how Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Ford, etc car clubs start off. Mixed meets, especially with Japanese cars, can give people a mixed emotion.

 

Just my opinion. I know it is a major turn off for me. I enjoy chillin witchu guys, but a lot of Sentras I see on the road are owned by ricers. I don't like em either.

Well show me enough LGT support and i wont even invite the sentras!

 

I havent told them about the meet yet because of this.

 

So show me the support.

I'd be all for it Josh, but what do ya know, I'm in Washington now. I'm sure I'll meet up with all you guys in three or so years, once I get stationed back out that way.
