Moderators BarManBean Posted November 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted November 2, 2016 Didn't you just dump a full cosworth motor into the car? Why rebuild? "Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>> Not currently in stock
Nightmaresmk
probably wore out the rings seeing as he tracked it. which is normal for built motors to get freshened up. As for him selling it. sad.
oldskoolbiker
Didn't you just dump a full cosworth motor into the car? Why rebuild? Well the engine had sat for a few years unused so the valve stem seals had dried out and wore out prematurely. Since I was getting a valve job, I had the bottom end checked out and the rod bearings were showing good amount of wear, so getting new rod bearings, and of course new rings since it's apart. But the rings were actually fine.

Rhitter
Unrelated - where is the plug on the steering wheel that you pulled to turn off VDC? I am getting tired of pressing the button every time I get into the car. My OBXT build

oldskoolbiker
Unrelated - where is the plug on the steering wheel that you pulled to turn off VDC? I am getting tired of pressing the button every time I get into the car. It's on the top right side of the steering column, right about where it meets the dash. The way I found it was followed the wires from the steering angle sensor.
