TrueWhiteBoy
Seems like a car that might be of interest to a number of people on the forum (mostly those who were complaining that the BRZ wasn't AWD). People here generally spoke well of the Cooper S AWD Coupe with an MSRP of $28,500 http://www.favething.com/uploads/images/main-fave-images/2013_mini_john_cooper_works_paceman_all4-2.jpg http://www.favething.com/uploads/images/main-fave-images/2013_mini_john_cooper_works_paceman_all4-3.jpg Thoughts? dmanaenk
Pictured - JCW Paceman, $36k. In general I don't see why anyone who wants a nimble and sporty car would get a paceman. Cooper S - sure, Paceman? No.
NickB34
I'm somewhat intrigued, but I've always been put off by the fact that they are a subsidiary of BMW.

SCSpecB
my girlfriend had a mini. great to drive ultra quick. but had internal problems so we ditched it. google death rattle. Likewise, the fiancé had an '07 S. Timing chain needed replacing at 40k...oh and Mini Corporate tried to tell her that the timing chain tensioner wasn't related to the timing chain to try and avoid having to cover the chain under warranty (tensioner was replaced at about 20k for being found out of spec when investigating the death rattle.) dmanaenk
There's little reason to project the handling of regular Cooper S (2600 lbs) to this thing (3200+ lbs). It's not gonna be close.
