relative4
I recently replaced my valve cover gasket on my '05 LGT, and found that I was still leaking. I thought I had screwed up the gasket job, but found it wasn't exactly that. The oil hose feeding into the valve was originally clamped with a crimp-type clamp, which I was able to remove without difficulty, but I couldn't reinstall it, so I used a normal radiator-style screw-type hose clamp. That's where I'm leaking. How should I clamp this thing? Do I need to use a crimp-type clamp, and if so is that tool readily available?
Max Capacity
Yep just use a normal style hose clamp. TheBlackPearl
I used a normal worm screw type on mine with no problem as well. If you still can't get it to seal, try a fuel injection hose clamp maybe. Self proclaimed PNW Craiglist find of the day Champion, April 2014.
