freebengrad
I plan on debadging my trunk tomorrow. I wanna take the "subaru" and "legacy" badges off. I purchased goof off or goo gone, whatever it's called, for the job. Any other useful tips to make this process a little easier?
dfoley4
Use a blow dryer to heat them up and make it easier to remove.

dfoley4
I used goof off on my car it didn't seem to do any harm. The can says it can be used for auto applications. With that said definitely clay/wax/clean afterwards.

The Green Monkey
Dental floss will also work. I debadged only the 2.5GT for maximum sleeperificness, but I gathered all the various supplies mentioned throughout the thread and didn't need a single one of them other than the floss--it was a laughably simple, five minute (if that) process. I did it when the car was several years old (including most days with its ass facing west into the setting Miami sun), and there was no noticeable "tanline" to deal with. However, that might be a virtue of the BSM paint--a darker or non-metallic paint might have been different...
