05 lgt limited front rotors size problems NAPA

Recommended Posts

Ok, so i'm in process of replacing front rotors, went to NAPA, first time they sold me rotors 10.8 in diameter, i didn't noticed when i bough them, and when i removed my old ones i was like WTF ? Those were way to small.

Today went to napa again, told them politely that they sold me wrong ones, they gave me another bigger set, and after i came home i tried to put them in, but they are still to small, they measure 11.5 , but they should be 12.3 . I'm just pissed, i told them multiple times, that my car is 05 LGT, and they sold me first time for 05 legacy, and second time for 05 legacy limited.

Now i went and read, so i know rotor i got is smaller, i installed them, but haven't drove yet, they seem to work, but brake pads sticking out like 4-5 mm.

Should i go and replace them again or what ?? I'm just tired of removing caliper and all that stuff.

Return them and-

Buy the centric premium rotors here.

Or I have a set of OEM 17 inch fronts ( off my 05 LGT wagon) that measure out at 29.6mm- 1.165" standard is 30mm-1.18", pay the shipping and there yours probably $30-40 USPS priority shipping for both.

It looks like napa should have the 12" rotors if you do decide to exchange again. I'm not certain, but it looks like you need napa part number "UP 880361". Personally I would just exchange again.

Got my original rotors resurfaced at dealership for 20 $, installed new pads and test drove it today, they feel like new now, no vibration at all. And my buddy who did them at dealership said that those rotors were at like 80 % of their thickness, so i can still have left plenty.
