gjeff80
I need new tires for my 05 Legacy GT. The tires are 215/45/17. Does anyone have any recommendations, I live in MA and don't do separate Winter Tires or Summer Tires. I typically go with a good all year round high performance tire. Just wondering what people had for recommendations.
krzyss
You may consider 225/45 and 205/50 sizes too. Continental DWS has good reviews. If you want to spend more money Michelin Pilot AS Plus and Bridgestone RE970 are good bets too. Krzys

Legacy2005GT
I am in Northern California (South Bay area, no snow) with the same car, same question. Car came with z rated tires installed although they are not required according to the manual. Am now using Nexen 215/45r17 but need new tires and suggestions for same. Thanks! Same situation, I do go up to Tahoe so I'd like something with good snow/ice performance. DWS are obviously very good, what about the Michelens or the RE970s? For comparison, I'm on the bunny-killers (RE92s), which are totally worthless in the snow.
iNVAR
check the tire rack survey results. look at the top 10 tires, and look at the ones with a million or more reviewed miles. then check their prices. then buy it.
