Nightmaresmk
Question after two years on my setup. i have run into an issue that several have posted questions on but no real answer. When driving at little to no throttle "flat road cruise on" my car starts hunting for afr. bouncing between 11.4to 16.8 you can feel the car jerking. AFR under load and idle are fine. Vacuum is stable -19psi to -20psi. Ive replaced parts with oem Subaru like 02 sensors and coils. Only thing i have changed since the original tune is the elh a couple months ago. Streetlegal
Figure I'll join the party. Would be an e-tune since I'm in WI. I'm planning on doing this in two steps so if you could let me know if it makes sense/would work, that would be awesome. Or if you have any suggestions. Currently I have: -invidia Catless DP, Avo Mid/Y, nameless axlebacks -stock turbo and fueling -perrin after MAF tube -GFB Hybrid 50/50 BOV -air pump delete I am wanting to go E85 since it's all over the place by me and will be easier to make power. Would like to have an E85 map and a 93 map. Eventual goal is 400awhp/400awtq or somewhere around there. Part one plans: -ID1000s -DW300 -FMS FMIC (already have this) -GS EBCS -figure out some intake that will work with the FMIC Drive around with that for awhile while I get the rest of the parts together: -NA intake manifold -TGV deletes -Parallel fuel rail conversion -UEL headers or ported manifolds and GS crosspipe (have the cross pipe and spare manifolds to port) -Rotated up pipe with corresponding exhaust -not sure on the turbo yet. Was looking at a GTX3076 but thinking that might be more than I need. So I wanted to pick your brain and see what your thoughts were. Pricing on the e-tune too if possible trying to figure out my options.
Nightmaresmk
Any dyno tune is $500 unless he has a special. stg 1/2/3 doesn't matter. StreetLegal you will want a wideband LC1 or AEM so you can monitor afr and a flex fuel sensor if your running e85. also with e85 you want a 10 micron filter before the fuel rails that you can open and clean every couple months. e85 is a dirty sticky fuel. jasejase
Most tuners quote based more or less on the mods you have
Nightmaresmk
His prices are listed thankfully. My belief is Stage 0,1,2 road tune. stage 3,4,insane dyno tune with road tune cleanup.

Oops forgot to list the wideband. I have an MTX-L in my trans am and really like it. Was planning on doing the same one. Didn't know you needed a flex fuel sensor or the filter. Haven't seen anyone else list that stuff. This also wouldn't be a dyno tune. It would be an e-tune since I am in WI
Nightmaresmk
Yeah e85 is actually e70-to e85 and it varies from month to month station to station so a sensor for ethanol content is a must imo. the filter is a must as well. e85 is not as widely used so sediment is normal unfortunately and it also breaks down quicker than gas. Ellesedil
I'm hoping there's a good resource for this somewhere already, but I've been unable to find one so far. Is there a good guide to introduce those new to Accessports and ECU modifications (clarification: I'm not looking to modify anything myself)? Specifically, I'd like to understand what's going on in the engine, what things/gauges I should be monitoring, and what exactly do those gauges mean as far as the engine is concerned? NastyLGT
Got an e-tune through you guys about 8 months ago...been running great. Had it out today and during 2ng and 3rd gear pulls, the knock feedback jumps to -4.xx then all the way to -8.xx....obviously a reading that high isn't good. I've read that anywhere up to about -3 is acceptable. How do I fix or remedy this issue? Stays at zero during normal driving even under moderate boost. But as soon as I mash the throttle, the knock feedback jumps....
Dujo
You may want to email BrenTuning directly. There hasn't been a post in this thread in a year and a half. It may not be seen for a while. Good luck!
