skwiggly
Was reading this: http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/11/avo-brz/ and came across a comment about Subaru's "chocolate pistons", which I had never heard of, so after some googling, found this article: http://www.importtuner.com/tech/impp_1103_subaru_ej_series_engine_tech/viewall.html which I thought had some interesting ideas about tuning the EJ motor, common pitfalls, myths, and facts. Enjoy.

skwiggly
D'oh! I even searched for that URL, guess the site search missed it So can someone actually explain what "chocolate pistons" are???
Mill
Subaru casts their pistons out of chocolate and the rods out of brownie batter. I believe we have ginger bread cranks as well... But seriously its probably something to do with cast pistons and the fact that they seem to break when they please.
