AEM boost gauge?

I just installed my aem gauges that came off my old talon and the boost gauge is reading vacuum fine but when I go full throttle the boost barely reads 3 psi? The vacuum at idle is past 30 in.hg as well. Not sure if thats normal for these cars to pull so much vacuum. The car seems to be running okay but seems like something is going on with either my gauge or the boost really isn't were it should be. I am t'd in at the bypass valve which is where I saw everyone else was. Right now the car is stock except cobb intake and magnaflow catback exhaust. Any additional info or ideas will be appreciated. Thanks

It was reading fine on my talon but who knows maybe the sending unit has failed and now reading incorrect. Just so weird that is seems to work okay for vacuum other then it may be reading too low but the boost doesn't want to show anything above 3psi.

Theres no lines to kink it is all digital. I didn't even think about checking the gauge against my vacuum tester and when I set my tester to 15psi the gauge read only 3psi. I also noticed when I turn the key on that the gauge reads 20inhg and should read 0. Looks like from what I can see is the sending unit has failed or out of calibration. So when my gauge says the car is boosting at 2-3psi its really like 13-15psi.
