c123money
Alright here's the deal. I got a 2009 2.5i a year ago for cheap money currently has 27k miles on it and is slow as sh*t, quickly realized it wasn't enough power for the way I drive. Now I just found a 2009 GT with 32k miles for a good price, pretty much identical car, year, color (inside/outside), except its a GT. My question is given all the mods I did to the 2.5i below is it worth it? I need some advice on this one, Pros, Cons, etc... Appreciate any feedback! I put in the following mods to the 2.5i and a few can easily come off: * Huper Optik Tint * Whiteline Rear Sway and end links * Whiteline Front Strut Bar * GrilleCraft grille * Fog lights * Remote Starter * Amp/JBL Sub added to Harmon Kardon system * USB feed to stock stereo * Auto Dim mirror with compass
-Samurai-
Revert the 2.5i to stock as much as possible and trade it!
ibr_adam09
Sell the aftermarket parts off the 2.5i. Trade it. Get the GT. Buy aftermarket parts for the GT and then some. Won't regret it.
LosAngelesLGT
Alright here's the deal. I got a 2009 2.5i a year ago for cheap money currently has 27k miles on it and is slow as sh*t, I love your brutal honesty. Makes me want to donate to the site just to make that my signature. Classic. quickly realized it wasn't enough power for the way I drive. It would be cheaper to slow down. I understand if not, its advice I can't follow. Now I just found a 2009 GT with 32k miles for a good price, pretty much identical car, year, color (inside/outside), except its a GT. is it worth it? I need some advice on this one, Pros, Cons, etc... Appreciate any feedback! Best financial advice #1 Delete your LGT.com account and enjoy your 2.5i if you can. Second best financial advice Secure a car loan at your bank for a used car, go buy the LGT, transfer sways, links, grill, etc. Sell 2.5i. If you can't secure a loan, keep the 2.5i as modding the LGT will eat a hole in your bank account. Otherwise, damn it all and burn cash like there is no tomorrow. You only live once. One perspective is, Ive got more in parts on my LGT than this one will cost you.
c123money
Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to think it through. My only worries is the suspension which like on my 2.5i is going to suck and I will need to upgrade that which I've been wanting to do on the 2.5i for awhile to Koni's. The car is 200miles away also so who the eff knows, thanks for the input though. Too bad the next gen look like crap
