LegacyKid5
So I'm getting ready to order my Diode Dynamic HID conversion kits for my low beam and fogs, both in the 6k. I'm just curious whether or not to get the HID relays, now obviously it's recomemended as it can help protect your factory electronics and wiring, but I was just curious how many people didn't use them and have been fine or if people have generally used them? Also ordering the switchback turn LED for once I finish up blacking out my headlights and need a bulb that flashes amber, and was wondering if it i possible to use the flasher to fix the hyperblink in the 05. I've been told sometimes they are impossible to get out and that is why you have to use the resistor kit, so if anyone could chime in who has experience that would be great. I'd like to use the flasher if possible just to avoid the splicing of wires, but if not ohwell.

BAC5.2
1) HID's in fog lights is moronic. Argue all you want, it's a tremendously stupid idea from an optical standpoint. 2) HID ballasts can cause harm to the OE wiring. You should ALWAYS use an isolating harness when adding non-factory electronics, especially those subject to environmental conditions. There are lots of people who don't use a relay harness, and say "no problem for XYZ years". But is that a risk you want to take? If you do it, do it right. LegacyKid5
Thanks Bac, that's pretty much the answer I was looking for. I actually placed the order this morning and went with the relay harness, so I'm glad I did after reading your response.
