Dyno tuners in Florida

Recommended Posts

Anyone know of a reputable Dyno tuner in Florida. I'd like to find one in South Florida, but anywhere in the state will do.

I wanted to retune my EFI Logics tuned 08 LGT and use BrenTuning, but I relocated to Florida.

From what I understand, Shamar at Infamous has been constantly backed up and I'm willing to pay for the second Dyno rather than e-tune it.

Any help is appreciated.

Open source or Cobb will do. Thanks guys.

Cobb offers off the shelf Stage 2.

The tuner in my signature offers E-tunes without the ridiculous wait that shamar offers.

And I'm sure others will chime in with more legitimate SoFlor tuners that can help you.

Good luck and keep us posted :)

Out of curiosity, what numbers did you put down with Brentuning?

I can't use off the shelf tunes. Ive got an 18g from BNR with fuel mods, full turbo back, pump, and other stuff. I have a Cobb Accesport but I could care less if I use it or if I go opensource.

I haven't used Brentuning, but I did use EFI Logics. I put down a sad 250 something hp and 280 something torque. (due to a stock waste gate actuator)

Trying to get retuned via dyno.

Or may be http://www.titanmotorsports.com/ can help.

If you contact one of them may be they could recommend a Subaru shop if you can't find one.

Titan has produced some pretty fast cars.

Or you could do what us old people do and google it.

Definitely could google it like you old folks, but I was just looking for something that maybe members have used before and where to stay away from. The whole word of mouth thing.

Thanks for the list though. Probably installing an AEM uego Wideband and e-tuning with a cobb AP via Brendan.

Worth looking into the other shops though.

Actually, STI Mikey, an excellent road tuner and will be around Florida attending every one tuning needs. He has a scheduled stop at Rev Works shop in Central Florida on August 18. Several sti guys on in-line for his tune and I think one Legacy is as well. I might be there just to watch ( I'm currently getting e-tuned)

Rev-works is a relatively new shop specializing in Subaru's and has very good ratings. There's is also 'Performance Race Solutions' that has a Mustang dyno and could tune for you. (altho, their maintenance side has been iffy)

Not to knock anyone, but ever since I purchased my legacy over 2 years ago, shamar has been pretty much backed up.

Not that I'm impatient, I just dumbly assume that a dyno tune is going to yield better results.- not the case

I'm really wanting to go with Brendan so I will be installing an AEM wide band and going the route of an e-tune.

I'm not sure how I got a tune without a wide band considering my tuner used a Cobb ap and the software, but tuning is foreign to me.

Yay for more parts.

Recommendations on what other gauge I should run besides a/f?

Oil pressure, boost? Let me know what you veterans suggest.

Did BMX get banned again? Was gonna pm him but it said he was.. Hmmm did I miss something?

They keep the AFR on the rich side when not using a wideband, richer is safer then lean. You'll get a lot more dialed in tune with the wideband being installed. I know Bren does e-tune, but only with a AP.

Yes BMX got banned again, perma this time. Posting NSFW images again from what I've gathered.
