Pinsk18
Whats the best way to remove the double sided tape holding it on? Any chemical I can pour on it?
JFB
Someone who has experience with paint interactions will need to weigh in on the safety of this option, but I know there's a 3M Spray product you can get that works pretty well. Not at home right now but I'll be back Sunday night and can give you a product number then if you need.
monkeyposeur
From the factory it's bolted on. If yours is held on by double sided tape heat it up with a heat gun and slide some dental floss underneath the tape. Don't melt it or mess up the paint. stevenva
We used lacquer thinner in situations like that at the detail shop. It is safe on clearcoat. http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-detailing/130439-safe-solvents-lacquer-thinner-removing-paint-over-spray.html RIP 96 Legacy 2.2 4EAT lost reverse @ 374,000 miles
