GP2001
Hey everyone, I believe I know the answer to my question, but want to confirm with the resident experts on here. Is a crucial catless up pipe and crucial shorty downpipe sufficient to run Cobb Stage 2? Also, if I decided to flash back to Stage 1, is it OK to leave the exhaust setup like that? Subieaction
Downpipe yes. Unless you gut it. And the up pipe is just for safe measure. Think if anything breaks up from the up pipe it will enter your Turbo and **** it up. If you are worried then do it but not mandatory. I plan on doing it just to be on the safe side. And if you go to the cobb website it will say that it is a mandatory downpipe. Don't know about flashing back from stage two to one. Just log. Try 93 then 91. Usually 91 is a much more safer map. Even though 93 is faster.. Chris
xero287
Flashing back to stage 1 while having an aftermarket downpipe is not advisable.
fahr_side
Yes to the first part and no to the second. Obligatory 'build thread' Increased capacity to 2.7 liters, still turbo, but no longer need spark plugs.
