Argonaut Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 I was on vacation with my 2008 Subaru Legacy @ 78,000 miles and the durring the trip the stereo stopped playing. I have the cd/sat/fm/am package. I contacted Subaru and they told me I was out of luck as the car is no longer in warranty. What are my options?? Anyone have or have had the same issues? Any assistance would be apreciated. If I am going to spend 300$ for a new radio I would like to know what my options are. Note: the radio has power and switches between all modes but no sound comes from the speakers, and the volume changes as you turn the knob. The climate control package works just fine.
