Will i need a re-tune after MAF clean?

Just got my car tuned a few weeks back. I've had a little bit of a rough idle and was hoping the tune would have addressed this, but it didn't. I was reading about cleaning the MAF and think I want to try that out. I am just over 100k and have never done it and hoping that might help. Will I have to get a new tune afterwards?

If you got tuned with a really dirty maf, then yes. This is why you shouldn't get tuned with leaks or a dirty maf...without doing a run down on the car. A dirty maf can throw off all sorts of air fuel trims. Ideally, no you shouldn't have to.

do you have an oil based filter like "K&N" ? if so and it was dirty pre-tune ...than it would be a good idea to get a re-tune or "tune up" after cleaning it...I'm on my second MAF....
