Mine does too, other then the obvious, "tighten the damn thing and it won't come up so far" why does it do that? I've had my car roll a couple times with my E-Brake up, just not up far enough. Now I leave it in gear. Because it's not tight enough. The cables have to take up more slack until they start engaging the brake shoes.
