I notice your E Brake handle comes up awful far. Mine does too, other then the obvious, "tighten the damn thing and it won't come up so far" why does it do that? I've had my car roll a couple times with my E-Brake up, just not up far enough. Now I leave it in gear.

Because it's not tight enough. The cables have to take up more slack until they start engaging the brake shoes. This can happen either from stretched cables or worn parking brake shoes. Both of which are common.

Don't want to leave it in gear becuase it has a auto starter

I love the matte centre console and what appears to be alcantara (?) on the trim pieces. Very nice pickup you've got there.

 

Yeah that looks really good. A pillars look like they're done in it too.
