adler Posted July 12, 2005 Share Posted July 12, 2005 this fall i'll be doing a re-fresh of the coolant system on the outback before winter sets in, and installing a block heater, new thermostat, and rad hoses. im wondering if silicone hoses last longer than rubber hoses (i assume they do) are silicone radiator hoses available for the EJ25 phase 1 motors? subaru being subaru i would think that any of the 2.5 litre motors and maybe even the smaller motors would use the same hoses. meaning the 2.5RS would share the hoses of the 2.5 outback, or the 2.5 STI would share the hoses as well. in short, can i get silicone hoses that wil fit?
