donyzfr1
I just cleaned my headlights by taking them apart. I want to replace the sealant so condensation won't get in. So what's the best way to remove the old sealant. I don't want to pile sealant on top of the old.
monkeyposeur
Why do you need to replace the sealant? Normally you just have to bake them to soften the old sealant and they go back together, all sealed up, just fine.
donyzfr1
I did put them back in the oven. I lined them up and put the screws back in with pressure. The first time it rain I had condensation for about a week. So I wanted some info on resealing. I didn't get any. So I put them back in the oven and scraped out the old sealant (well most of it) added more silicone sealant and now NO condensation after 3 days of rain. FIXED!!!!!
