Hey All,

Gonna start a thread with mod pics of my 3.0R Outback wagon. So far I've gotten the 07 headunit (no aux hookup yet, on my list), tinted the windows (35 in the front, 20 in the back, sunroof and sun strip on the windshield), Outback XT electro-luminecent gauges, red LED foot lights, LED lighting all around, Nokya artic white headlight bulbs and orange fogs. Pics attached!

Nope lol. It works but the rpms were all kinds of screwy and reading too high. I think it was making the car shift weird too. So I put the old one back in.

So the 4-cyl XT gauge cluster works and registers the correct rpm on the 6 cyl 3.0R?

Nope not at all. What I did was take a set of these, cut the wires and ran some wire to the cigarette lighter light, spliced into that, and stuck the LED's above the foot areas. I used the red ones in the legacy I had and I just bought a set of these to replace the red, because the blue will look more like the kit Subaru offers for the 2010 and up. I also use the white version of these lights from the same company for my dome lights. I've been very satisfied with them and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. The price is great and it gives off an incredible amount of bright light. Plugged into the cigarette lighting, they can also dim with the rest of the lighting which is cool. I used to hook them to the heated seat switches but figured this would be better, and it is. Hope this helps!
