USRHDEJ20R
I live in Oregon, in the US and I have a 1995 RHD Subaru Legacy with a 1997 EJ20R swap. The whole thing has been a great swap and a huge improvement from what is available on the American market. I've put nearly 45,000 Km on the car since the swap and have had no issues until the other day when I went to go start the car after a short drive and it sounded like it was randomly missing and running on two cylinders. I have no idea what is causing the issue, but if I leave the car for a while to cool off it will start and run fine. It sounds perfectly normal until the temp gauge reaches its normal operating temp then it throws a fit and starts sputtering and running like crap. Any ideas? I could really use the help since no local Subaru mechanic around knows whats up with this...
USRHDEJ20R
I have done a bit more research and diagnostics on the car... I have found that it starts missing on its approach to normal operating temp, then when it reaches that temperature it seems to drop the signal to coil packs #2 and #4. Any ideas?
