optyks
Looking to get my uppipe installed here pretty soon, as well as hopefully get a new tune, as I'm not happy with my current one. I've heard True Tune is gone? What's up with that? Recommendations please! Thanks

optyks
I don't have the time, knowledge, patience or tools. Who tunes in slc these days?
S402
Ziptie dyno tunes with trained tuner. Not sure if Jesse still tunes. Innovative garage does not sure on rates

keithk831
If you want any power gains whatsoever, don't get tuned by Jason Cleverley. He tuned by buddy's car (when he was working for True Tune), and my friend was barely breaking 15psi. I made a few adjustments to his WGDC and timing and he was finally at Stage 2 power levels. The worst thing was that he defended his work to me. Waste of money.
Guest fnp_tuning
I Tune for Tony still, if you have any questions or need anything answered feel free to pm or throw it up here; i'm open to questions and have no issues answering things publicly. When it comes to getting stuff installed there are a couple of shops locally in the SLC valley that can do it for ya, True Tune, Rusco, Rob's Speed Shop and Solid Auto Works to name a few. I personally would stay away from Ziptie, Alex tunes for them now and unfortunately doesn't have a solid understanding when it comes to tuning. Guest fnp_tuning
Haha, good one! Just take your car his way and tell me how that goes for ya bud . If its like the last one it will pull in running then 4 days and about 30 tuning hours later won't start and be lower on power . Thanks for making this forum more like Nasioc though, uneducated mud slinging is always fun.
Guest fnp_tuning
The best advice I can give is make sure your car is 100% solid before you end up choosing s tuner, then find someone that you trust with your car. Won't hurt my feelings if its not me, just make sure the choice you make is something that doesn't leave you scratching your head or uncomfortable in the end. Good luck! -Jesse
Hops
I use Christian @ Cobb for my tuning needs. Just make sure the tuner you use has plenty of experience. Buy my cars!

optyks
I could install an uppipe for ya. Do you have a downpipe as well? I only have an uppipe right now. I don't see getting a dp any time soon unless it's sub 400 and catted.. I would appreciate your offer though! optyks whats your name btw? Sean Definitely looking for a place in SLC or surrounding areas. Don't have time to go on a trip for car work.
S402
I wouldn't do anything till you atleast get a dp
Hops
You can find used catted downpipes for cheap. You may want to consider having the uppipe and downpipe installed at the same time since the downpipe needs to be removed to access the uppipe. Just sayin. And if you want to save some money on an install, hit me up. Buy my cars!
optyks
I thought about that. If i can find one in the next couple months in my price range, i'd be willing to do it all. Buuut, being a college student and everything, I can't spend too much money on her right now, unfortunately. EDIT: Just cam across this, and seeing some good reviews here on the boards. mwiener2
I just cut apart a CNT... was not impressed with the cat. The cat was starting to unravel in the middle. I don't know if that is an isolated event or not.... most people don't inspect their cats.
