JimDod
I found something disturbing on carsdirect.com. First the PZEV ($300) option is required in California and a few other states. Second, and the problem, is if I check it then it requires me to have the CVT. This could be a deal breaker for me. Is it true?
aigochamaloh
Not true. I've seen ONE 6 speed PZEV here in person. I also own a 5 speed PZEV, and I highly doubt they've changed any laws in 3 years.
FLZ_Boy
My 2011 Legacy 2.5i 6 Speed Manual does not have PZEV, nor it has the nice leaf badge like the CVT gets. My car is a California car.

1055
My roomate has a 10' legacy that's pzev and 6 speed. Idk if that helps but at least its some indication that they did exist? Lol
FLZ_Boy
According to cars101, pzev is not required for manual Legacy (2010 +).
