babeatto
Will this fit our Legacy? I am guessing it would be some minor fitment issues just like the JDM sport grill everyone has right now. Be great if I can get confirmation. Thanks.
Guest turboman
If anyone has any details on where and how much it sure would be appreciated. I hate our Honda, Toyota, etc., etc., present grille. They all look the same.
rallispec
it will fit with the same issues as the rest of the JDM grills most likely. anyways, looks like a cool alternative to the sport grill -- where did you find that?
mach_six
Japanparts has it, looks like Subaru makes that one.

jj808
it will fit with the same issues as the rest of the JDM grills most likely. +1 The lower edge of the JDM grill has a slightly different curve than the USDM one.
babeatto
+1 The lower edge of the JDM grill has a slightly different curve than the USDM one. That's what I was thinking too, do you think its still workable? I don't mind a little gap like the JDM mesh grill, but any more than that, forget it. Some members used double side tape to reduce the gap, it seemed a lot better too. I saw on a car with that grill in Hong Kong. The picture came from Japan parts. They are quite expensive. If I'm getting one, I'll be trying to look for a place to get it cheaper.
rallispec
it seems like that price is pretty comparable to what the JDM mesh grill is going for. If you do find it for less, please let us know where.
Guest turboman
+1 The lower edge of the JDM grill has a slightly different curve than the USDM one. It might just be curved on top, and the bottom edge is still straight. Japs (Asians, excuse me) aren't so dumb that they'd invest in a new molding machine just so it would fit a curved bottom grille. They'd just make the edge on top you see curved, with the same flat bottom. If I recall, it comes painted to match your car. Did anyone call Japanparts to find out? I suppose I'll end up doing it, like my wife always tells me she does.
PGT
I have the Sport Grille - I considered the one you linked, but it has a distinctly 'Saabness to it'. Not sure if that is good or bad, but given the Saab 9-2X being called a 'Saabaru', I decided to pass. 9-2X http://www.carphotoalbums.com/photos/data/865/11saab_9-2x_aero_08-med.jpg 9-3 http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/images/saaba1.JPG
