sam6140
Has anyone ever did a muffler delete on the older 90-94 Legacy 2.2's? I've done it in the past on my V8 cars, and it can sound awesome. So basically, run a straight pipe after the catalytic converter, all the way back. Usually the Cat keeps it decently quiet enough, giving it a nice rumble. How does it sound on these cars? Anyone done it?
subaru90
Just unbolt the muffler and let it hang out of the way, then start ur car and see if yo like the sound! I did it and it sounds good. Going to weld on a straight pipe when I get some money
sam6140
Thanks. Are you going to put your pipe in place of the muffler? I hope my muffler unbolts, and isn't welded on.

sam6140
good job! You gotta post a clip for us to see/hear it! What exactly did you do? Run a straight pipe from the cat all the way back? Took off the resonator too? What size pipe? It's not overly loud?
