redline76
After voicing my opinion many times about how most aftermarket wheels are ricey, look too aftermarket, look tacky, etc., I saw a set I liked and pulled the trigger, just for shits and giggles. Keep in mind I like things to look subtle. If anything, I would want a set of aftermarket wheels to look like they came with the car, not tacked on after. I'm satisfied with the look although with the installation of the engine parts, my car is no longer stealthly and I might be returning to stock to get back to near-sleeper status. Size is 18"X7", +48 offset. The wheels are Technomagnesio Detroit F1s (Italian). I thought I would throw up a pic or two just to give people other ideas for wheels. These are very similar to Spec Bs except the spokes are a bit thicker, are the same width the whole length of the spoke, and are a dark silver color. If you hate them, go ahead and tell me, I have it coming

Dsfa
I share the same thoughts as you! I have the same car as you and so far the wheels you picked are one the best I have seen so far. You should lower it a little more. HOw much did you pay for them and where did you get them?

redline76
Cheers. I have a set of JDM GT struts/pinks on the way, hopefully that will be all the lowering the car needs. Dsfa: Rallysport Direct used to carry them and probably could still order them from Europe. I don't know of any other importers in the US. You want to buy these? sandwood
nice cow dude seriously though, I like the look of those rims. I like a smooth faced multi-spoke design even more than the rims I got because they look a little more oem. did you weigh them? too bad they aren't 18x7.5.... getting out of the legacy game

He just sort of mosey'ed his way into the attachments. Nothing like wasting a bit of bandwidth in the morning. They're about 20.5 lbs. I too would have preferred a wider wheel (8" with a 245), but that's life Since you would end up running at most a 225 with a 7.5 and you can still put a 225 on a 7", I guess it doesn't bother me too much. redline76
Personally, I think the sportiest looking wheel for my car would be the G Games Sidewinder. They don't look like anything special in the pic, but they look completely different mounted on a tire in a wheel well. Definitely more "sport" than the Technos, though. Better than that...you can get the Sidewinders in 18X8.5, +48 offset! I think they weight in at 21-22 lbs as well. Not too expensive either, about $249/wheel in 18X7.5, $259/wheel in 18/8.5 Check 'em out at tires.com. They have the exclusive distribution rights for these wheels in the US. redline76
You know it's funny. There seems to be a decent response here, but nobody at Harman liked them that much; they probably thought they were too conservative. WRX guys vs. Legacy guys, I guess. sandwood
I like those G Games too, and they aren't super expensive. I thought about getting them but couldn't find a set to see in person. I think they might a be a bit on the heavy side too. Personally, I think the sportiest looking wheel for my car would be the G Games Sidewinder. redline76
If you do a web search, there's some guy who put a set on his n/g Sentra hatchback. The thing looks like a Matrix or a mini Legacy wagon or something His car actually looks really nice with the Sidewinders; it should give you an idea what they would look like, i.e. really freakin' nice on a Legacy, esp. a wagon.
