Kodax
I am pretty noob to this whole new tire fitment thing, so please bear with me. I am looking to buy the new 2011 WRX rims and I was wondering if my current tires on the stock 17 inch rims would be able to fit the WRX rims. The OEM rims have tires size of 215/45-17 and the WRX has 235/45-17 rims. Does anybody has any ideas that would it fit?
mk6933
Yes it will fit. It will just be a light stretch.
Kodax
Will I be looking at any issues if I do put it on? Maybe the tires exploding under hard driving?
mk6933
No issues at all. It will just look a little bit stretch. Those hellaflush people will stretch even more.
Kodax
Help me here. What exactly is hellaflush? I always see people doing it, I kinda thought that it just means that the wheels are just way bigger than the car is suppose to be riding on. mk6933
Hellaflush is when people slam their car and have really wide and low offset wheels. In order to fit it, they need to camber their wheels ALOT and stretch their tires, ALOT. Like putting on 215s on a 9" wide rim. Some stretch even more, don't get me started.
