Drift Monkey Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Never seen this one yet. Nice find! 8) Those robots are too cool!
waflowers Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Cute (so far). RHD in the US? And would you trust a car that can drive itself? ;)
waflowers Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 OK, I'll admit that I'm not the greatest when it comes to Windows; I know enought to get me in trouble. I can play this (in Windows Media Player) but is there someway to download it onto my hard drive for offline viewing?

Dr. Zevil Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004
thanks for the link. but i prefer the BMW short films much more than this one....
Well, DUH!
RSPDiver Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Dennis Hopper as a cop... LOL Interesting that it's shown as 1) a replacement to an aging Passat, and 2) chasing down an aging BMW.
Dr. Zevil Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Dennis Hopper must be hungry. Everyone send him 1 dollar!
Drift Monkey Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004
reminds me of the movie christine hehe
The one where the house gets jealous and tires to kill everything?
Ken S Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Anyone catch the driver hitting the "+" Sportshift button followed by a shot of the tech with the revs jumping? :) Ken
Dr. Zevil Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004
Anyone catch the driver hitting the "+" Sportshift button followed by a shot of the tech with the revs jumping? :) Ken
Yeah, i noticed that. i would have thought that they would have accentuated the fact that it has those buttons on the wheel. It's a very nice feature to have. That car looks absolutely stunning though. Was it a Euro Spec-B (although it had the wrong rims) or was it a 3.0R or something?
axis008 Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 3.0R Wagon. Weird movie. So much effort into bringing the European-spec. one over. Why not the 2.5GT replacing someone's new BMW or something? Haha. -ben
babyvoxfan Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 If you really want to see some silly JDM Subaru commercials, here goes: http://www.japander.com/japander/clips/stewart.mov http://www.japander.com/japander/clips/stewart2.mov http://homepage.mac.com/wpo/clips/lopez.mov http://homepage.mac.com/wpo/clips/lopez2.mov http://homepage.mac.com/wpo/clips/lopez3.mov http://homepage.mac.com/alan31/clips/willis16.mov http://homepage.mac.com/alan31/clips/willis13.mov http://homepage.mac.com/alan31/clips/willis15.mov
axis008 Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Thanks for providing all those commercials! Haven't watched them yet, but I will when I have free time (away from the forum, haha). -ben
babyvoxfan Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Proof that you can get the world's biggest celebrities and still come up with lame commercials :)
Ken S Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Actually, it's proof that people will do anything for money, celebrity or not. :) Ken
Xee Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Here's a couple more: 2005 Legacy commercial Older model with Gibson cameo
apexjapan2 Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Hey I bought my first Legacy back in the Mel days  Believe it or not his ad had nothing to do with it - honest :D 280 ponies, Bilstein suspenders, decent interior, airbags and some rather tasty 17" rubber were rather more appealing :)
