panicrev
after searching for awhile i could not find an answer... any links to previous threads pertaining to how many coils to cut off for a set drop? if i had the $ i'd buy springs but shit is tight right now. this is only a temporary lowering until i can afford quality coilovers... example 1/2 a coil = ? in lowering. any help is greatly appreciated. btw i am fully aware of the reprecussions of cutting stock coils. i am just trying to minimize how many times i have to remove and re-install my springs. many thanks to all that can help
DeltaSniper
I would very much prefer to leave it alone rather than start cutting coils to lower your car...
BAC5.2
Why does it HAVE to be lower? Why not just wait until you have the money for springs? whitetiger
btw i am fully aware of the reprecussions of cutting stock coils. if you do, then you know that it was a stupid question to start with. cutting springs is straight ghetto and 100% the wrong way to do it. if you don't have the coin to do it right, then don't do it. Nrw
Keep an eye on the classifieds. There's decent springs that pop up time to time for short money.
BAC5.2
I suggest you get used to the way the car looks, then. Keep your eyes open for used springs, and find some locals that'll help you with the install. Then all you need money for is the alignment (which you'd need anyway), and the springs themselves.
