07wrxstage2
Got a piece of trim I've been looking for. NOS Is this the rear door trim piece? If so how much did you pay for it and where did you get it? My rear door came rusted in that area and the piece was missing. I got tired of looking and just went to a local pick n pull place and got a whole rear door with the trim piece for $50. Alex D. Sublimejoe
It was like $30 I think. It doesn't go on the door though, it attaches to the body right in front of the wheel well. I found it on eBay in the U.K.

I found it on eBay in the U.K. Gotcha, and yea I know what u mean I didn't mean to say it was part of the door. I got the door since the trim piece was missing from that as well and it had a big dent. Doesn't match but this cars paint is so awful I plan to plasti dip it for fun so it won't matter. Alex D. Sublimejoe
Ah ok I see. I also replaced all the door molding with new oem molding. It was like $70 per door but worth it!
SubaruLegacy43
Haven't posted here in awhile so here it goes. I threw a TD04 on my EJ22E and had a blast with it. Put 3500 miles on it and it decided to give out at 240k miles. So next step I guess is new internals or maybe something bigger. Who knows!http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161014/7a5d8504ed8d02b4a104b6aa9249e227.jpg

Sublimejoe
So, the VF24 turbo was my first hint, but after some talking with my friends from the first gen legacy forums and just verifying with the shop I bought the motor from, I definitely got an STI motor. Sublimejoe
Thanks dude! I am super stoked to finally have it to this point. Sublimejoe
I originally ordered the wrong clutch fork, so now I am trying to order the correct one. The tranny is from a 1996 Impreza, which was originally cable, but I have converted the car to hydraulic. Verifying this is the fork I would need for a hydraulic setup: http://i.imgur.com/cDyGdrJl.png
livinon2wheels
Joe I am jealous, that car started out so straight, no rust, wow what a great specimen. And to think it was a mail carrier car? How does that happen? And I guess the hydraulic setup is an easier maintenance item than cable, but how hard is it to do the conversion?
Sublimejoe
It looks straight from a distance but look closer at the right side of the car. The rocker was completely rusted out, and there was rust around the wheel wells. Overall it was decent though. I did replace all four doors, both front fenders and the rear bumper. livinon2wheels
ok I take it back joe, the body on it is nearly as bad as the one on mine, but considering the age, not so bad at all.
Sublimejoe
Yeah not too bad! The car only has like 70k miles on it though, so it must have been a rough life! I took some brackets and other stuff off my new motor yesterday, cleaned them up and painted black. http://i.imgur.com/Dcarmwxl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/l6KhUrol.jpg
