NinjaPablo Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Finally brought the Legacy home again last night, after it's been sitting in snow for most of a week (due to playing musical cars with getting the GF's car repaired). On the drive home, there was a distinct gas smell coming from the vents, and it took forever for it to shift out of 2nd (automatic). sqc151 Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 u can see in the pic it says 215/45/17. these are on the stock 05 LGT wheels. im getting 17x8.5 with probly a 225/40 tire in the summer so i dont rub my fenders. even thou i rolled all 4 fenders i still rub with stock suspension running 18x9.5. so i think the setup im going for should be perfect for daily driving and a bit of spirited driving. 92.Legacy.SS Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 might go that way then lol i had to google image the difference haha. and how stiff is your side wall right now the tires i have on my wrx rims give way to much... i can push my car and it moves side to side but im not sure if thats just cause the front end of my car as no sway bar mods or end links i just have a rear whiteline sway bar not sure on size.. sqc151 Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 the front of my car doesnt move. sidewalls are ok, im a fan of the stock 04-05 STi tires. i have a set for the summer because i like the way they grip and the sidewall is stiff for my driving style. It kept throwing oil in...or maybe the guy before me had oiled it too much before I got it, but it was an issue with mine. I like the dry filters though.
