hansvonaxion Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 OK I think I've found a Prova ECU for my BG5B MT for cheap. From what I've read, it's a replacement ECU programmed from the factory for a cat back exhaust and intake. In the ad they mention the car it was taken from had #8 plugs(?) and a pod filter only. My first question is, is this relevant in any way? Wouldn't it reset like the stock ECU? (I have an axle back and plan to try to improve the intake in some way) Also there are no instructions but I've also read it's a simple job to install, just unplug the old one and plug in the new one, is that right?
