WRXLEG4 Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 I have a 97 legacy with a 03 wrx engine. My cv joints are shot so Im gonna replace both front axle assemblys. Will wrx axles bolt up or am I gonna run into issues? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
carnumber19 Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 Pretty sure the WRX has a wider track than your Legacy so the axle shafts should be longer (and therefor shouldn't fit). I am not positive, but I'm mostly sure you will need the Legacy CV joints. Can anyone else confirm/deny this?
