vr4Legacy
most affordable and dependable option would be to trade in the 2.5i and buy a used LGT.... I don't know all the specifics, but the engines just aren't the same, and turboing any N/A engine is not good for the long haul.

joeblow
Do it. Find a used vf40 and just bolt it between the headers and catback. It'll work just fine. It's cool; I'm with the band
laxdudeee
There are a LOT of parts for adding a turbo, doing it right requires a metric ton of work. Anytime someone says they want to turbo a car 'on the cheap' it is a red flag, no offense. Doing other mods to an NA would be more beneficial. I don't know how well the NA cars respond to mods but I bet that info is somewhere...

MJ in PA
I'd suggest merely getting a hood with a hoodscoop, and "2.5 GT" badge!
