docdrey
Sounds like a decent bolt on. a cheaper vf52. are they any good? http://cgi.ebay.com/Kinugawa-Turbo-Replace-IHI-VF40-VF46-VF52-TD05H-16G-/280604982950?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item41555c3ea6
TRSCobra
I'd buy it if I were looking for a smaller, bolt on turbo. Search kinugawa on nasioc or IWSTI and you'll hear good things.
adolan21
I think the 16G from BNR costs about the same if you give him your VF40 housing.
m sprank
Great website; http://www.kinugawaturbo.com/ I hear mixed reviews. Some say they are shipping from China and made in Taiwan. Some say they are decent quality from Japan. With a company website like that. I tend to think it is the China/Taiwan connection.

trailcrushinbkr
Wow this is ironic, I was doing research on the same exact turbo at about 2 am this morning lol..Well I was looking more at their 18g turbo which does get good reviews. They say the internals are from a more reliable turbo which i forgot and the only thing this company actually makes is the outer shells. People said great reliability and lasted a while. Dutch Eagle
If you want I very reliable and good turbo on your 2.5l, go for a Mitsubishi. In practice they are bullit-proof. The TD05-18G (max.400HP) would be my choice. Easy 340-350 HP on stock intercooler and low pressure (17-18psi), so you do not have to worry about your gearbox.
