2011 100 Acre Wood Rally

Ok, so it's still a bit early, but wanted to let everyone know that it's happening again in February '11. Dates are 2/25-26 and we're the second round of six this year of the Rally America National Championship. We're starting in Potosi, MO on Friday and Salem, MO on Sat. and will once again be running the Super Special stage at the Potosi Lions Park (which is the closest stage to the StL area).

 

We always need tons of volunteers to pull this off, so I hope you'll consider coming down for either or both days. HAM operators and medical personnel are always the hardest to get enough of, so if you know of anybody like that, please let em know we need them. If you'll need a motel, will need to get that soon as they always fill up quick. All of the area motels are listed at www.100aw.org and volunteer registration is open on the website as well. If you aren't able to volunteer, at least try to make it down to spectate.

I registered to be on a sweep team for Saturday, really looking forward to it! Wish I could do it Friday, can't get off work. I'm working on getting some of my buddies to volunteer as well.

Just one last update about volunteers. We will be turning off the online sign up in a few days, so if you're thinking of signing up, do so soon.

All workers must come to Salem worker registration one time to get your assignments and free stuff. Times are on the website, but are at the Salem Fire House on Thursday from 4pm-8pm.

Then at the Salem Holiday Inn Express meeting room from 8am-11:30 on Friday and 0630-8am on Saturday.

If it's your first time volunteering, there is a training session at the Fire House on Friday. Can come and go between 9-10am or so.
