exhaust problems

Recommended Posts

Wait you have the Mid pipe and your stock heat shield is prohibiting this? You can Rubber mallet the heat shield at the areas it touches or you can remove it or dremel out the problem area with a cutting wheel attachment.

If you do remove the shielding consider dry wrapping the mid-pipe with thermal wrap. Besides the Drive shaft there isn't much that need protection from heat

Here's the thread with the information of his build.

It doesn't hurt to reset the ecu, just unplug the battery for bit, then plug it back in. ECU will be reset, and it can start learning again.

i put the whole set up on, and than after about a week i took out the mid and y pipe, i felt a loss with the whole system but with the mufflers seems a little faster but not much. and the sound is great for the 2.5i, it doesnt sound anything like a honda. it has a nice light rumble and lower note than other tuner cars.
