Yes he had forged slap happy wiesco pistons and he had around 380whp

 

Actually they were JE pistons and very noisy. The new ones are Manley Platinum coated pistons and they are super quiet.

 

In cold weather you get a bit of noise, but if you wait to 120 degrees nothing

So 100k on 380whp...good to know. What ultimately failed?

 

Stock motor 165K Lost exhaust valve

 

First built motor JE pistons 100K used a bit of oil toward end of 3K......Lost exhaust valve :mad:

 

New motor 10K so far and hasn't even used a drop of oil :)

Just installed Cobb full stage 3 fueling and FF kit. Pieced it together by buying some used pieces or new at good deals and installed the full kit. Along with Cobb double adjustable shifter, stock height shortest throw, Raceseng reverse knob, Cobb knob, JPM boot
