Supercharger for 3.0

Recommended Posts

That set up will be sweet on my Legacy but I don't want to void my warranty. :p

Just find a tuner friendly dealer. Like possibly one that is SPT dealer they usually are tuner friendly and they won't void your warranty. My dealer doesnt.

That noise would drive me nuts on that suv.

For that kind of power increase I wouldn't mind the sound. This thing sounds like a frickin porsche

is that 100HP at the wheels?? stock 3.0r is 245hp. so hitting 345 would be drool

245 is stock at the crank, so figure about 205 at the wheels(driveline loss), and by the time your done with the s/c, it would be about 300 @ the wheels with a good tune....and probably similar torque rating.

Would a US 2008 3.0R limited, automatic tranny, be bale to handle this supercharger. Looking at the cost of the kit with the tuning, exhaust and intake needed and ecu management it would go to about 10grand usd. Does anyone know of what exactly I would need besides this kit for it to work. Fitting it in the engine bay is something i'm not worried about. I'm pretty sure the block can handle the power, but can the auto tranny do so.

From my understanding, that kit was never produced and the Tribeca was decommissioned and parted out.

The Tribeca is alive and well. Still going strong and last seen in Spain.

Kits for Oz spec vehicles available shortly.

Raptor superchargers are designed and made in Australia. They have an excellent reputation over here for quality kits and their kits are very easy to install.

Do a search for "Raptor Supercharger" on youtube.
