LGT_King
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h58/jsking_555/RSLRA/IMG_7352.jpg My new little piece of fun, well at least for us North Americans... Now I have to track down the EDM LHD part for the trim piece beside the ebrake, shifter surround and cig pocket. Anyone got a EDM hookup??
dr_sharp
Is this like the new mustang where you can cycle through 7 different gay colors??? Or is it actually cool? lol
LGT_King
Is this like the new mustang where you can cycle through 7 different gay colors??? Or is it actually cool? Oh its actually cool. Well, in that its only one color... The coolest part of it is the fact that the trim associated with it (if I can ever get someone to hunt down some EDM parts) brings my LGT up to date with the rest of the world's LGTs (see exhibit A) Exhibit A: http://image.modified.com/f/17342266+w750+st0/sccp_0811_09_z+2008_subaru_legacy_sti_s402+interior.jpg

Xcasinonightzone
i've seen some beautiful pictures of these. i'm wondering if i'd be able to fit this into my MY05? obviously i'd need to also replace the shift boot/surround and the piece in front of the shifter. anyone know if those would fit sans modification? BAC5.2
If that was tan, I'd buy it. Problem is, you need a LOT of other parts than just that. I made a thread a year or so ago about the EDM interior, and there was a parts list within it. feelander
Seller has all of the necessary parts. I almost jumped on it, but realized the trim is silver, which wouldn't match my current wood trim. The only hiccup I see in fitting this is the attachment points on rear of the console box are different than USDM. It may just be due to a different bracket near the parking brake cable. 08Legacy08
Keep in mind, EDM cup holders do NOT light up... there are LED deletes in the unit... The only cup holders that light up are JDM (and the assembly is mirror image of EDM) so the JDM cup holder will NOT fit in EDM center console without significant modification. Just my .
nemo
I'd love to do this. I'd imagine there has to be someone in EDM who can head over to a junk yard and get these parts. If you don't vote Trump, out, you're a bigot who hates america.
jabz
I have them in my JDM 2006 here in NZ, the lights are blue. I'll take a pic
08Legacy08
Only the STI had red led's from what I remember... easy enough to change though... pull the led block out from inside the console (must remove console to do this). Seperate and pull out the tiny pc board inside the led block. put a different led in there, appropriate resistor, and you're good to go. I personally love the blue contrast to everything else that is red in the car. Shaun

Leke
^very nice so far! I was looking into this about 3 years ago, but I could never find a source for an Ivory console. I couldn't find a LHD automatic shift console either
08Legacy08
I have an extra black console coming in... you could paint it ivory if you were feeling up to it. I also have the Automatic shift console (circular black shiny plastic piece with the gear indicator printed) and ring! I am not using it because I have a manual. Black console would look beautiful in the ivory car IMO... i'm throwing out the option! You would also need ashtray, radio trim, handbrake assembly and to have lit up cup holders, you'd need the JDM cup holder assembly (to dismantle and steal parts from). I think everything to do your car would be about $800 ballpark. I could help you locate/source items pretty quickly. I've made some good connections over the last year of planning this mod!
