Maytime Posted October 28, 2010 Share Posted October 28, 2010 I'm flying into Seattle to pick up an 05 5MT LGT wagon with 55k miles. Only mods ever done are Borla exhaust and CAI (I know, stock is better, blah blah). Any specific items I should look for? grmorrow04 Posted October 28, 2010 Share Posted October 28, 2010 Private party or dealer? Check the front control arm bushings, the "tennis ball" or "pillow ball" looking one. It's on the rear of the front control arm. They usually tear, and will need to be replaced. Other than that, check the usual things; oil level, coolant level/color, trans fluid color/level, bearing play, paint mismatch, tire wear, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
