sjwelna
Does the legacy come from the factory with cowl braces between the lower a-pillar and the frame that runs along the fender like the stis/wrxs/some foresters? I made a custom pair for my FXT and it made a noticeable improvement in steering response/feel. I didn't see any predrilled holes in the frame where they normally would be on the sti but figured I would ask anyway. Thanks! -Steve
sjwelna
I just looked behind the black foam baffle thing that blocks between the fender and door jamb, looks like theres no place in there to put these from what I can see. No mounting holes already in the frame. -Steve
utc_pyro
They make them in Japan, but for some reason no one has imported them. They require drilling.
sjwelna
I suppose you could use a set from the STi's, I was half considering drilling and tapping the frame but honestly that seems like more work than their worth. -Steve
FX35B4
I installed this one few years ago. (Hope this is what you mention about) http://www.cs-marche.com/htms/subarutool/502700.html No drilling needed.
sjwelna
I bet you could make ones that tie into the door hinge mounting points like those do, I would have to take the fender off on one side and see if there are any mounting points on the frame under the fender to make use of these....now im going to have to look.
