Lowered 06 OBXT

Dumb question, would the flares on the Outback allow you to run a wider wheel?

Well, the outback wheels have a 48 offset instead of a 55 offset which says that you can pit a wider wheel or a higher offset. If you were to pull the fender just on the top, you can notch the flares as well, so I'm guessing that yes, you can but what are you trying to do.

You could probably make things fit.

i was just wondering if all you need is LGT wagon shocks and struts and they are a direct bolt on? do you need to buy any other parts for the drop? will it drive like a lowered car? sorry for the dumb questions but just got my first subie.

First off, welcome to Legacygt.com

To lower this outback, I used Legacy GT sedan struts and Legacy GT sedan springs. Also, the bump stops were swapped later by Amoxi because the Outback was pretty much riding on the bump stops. They need to be swapped for Legacy GT Wagon Bump Stops. Also, the rear springs "should" be Wagon specific springs, not sedan springs.
